Yacht rental in Turkey and around the world

Payment terms:
For a one-day charter:

1. Non-refundable deposit from 10% to 50%.
2. Final payment upon boarding (cash, only in Turkey). If you pay to the company’s bank account, please ensure the payment is received before the charter begins. If the payment does not arrive before the charter starts, the yacht will not be able to depart.

For booking a long-term charter:

1. Non-refundable deposit of 50%.
2. Final payment of 50% + APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) in advance, usually 30 days before the charter begins. Please note, if there is one month or less before the charter, payment is 100%.

For booking a one-day charter, a "booking sheet" will be issued for the client. For booking a long-term charter, a "MYBA contract" will be signed.

In the case of a weekly motor yacht charter,

in addition to the cost of rent, which includes the work of the crew to manage the ship and serve guests, there are a number of things that are paid extra:

APA - Advanced Provisioning Allowance for charter expenses

Almost always, food and drinks on board, fuel, satellite communications and Internet, payment for parking in ports, and other expenses that arise outside the yacht's home base are added to the cost of renting a yacht. All this is covered by an additional fee, called the APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance), which is paid before the charter starts. At the end of the charter, a settlement is made, and the client either receives back the unspent funds, or deposits the missing amount.

The average APA deposit is between 30% and 35% of the yacht rental price. The percentage can vary and depends on many factors. When renting for a short term, it will be higher than for a weekly charter. It can also be increased by special customer requests, such as special cuisine and drinks.

Taxes

This is another separate payment that is not included in either the yacht rental price or the APA deposit. The amount of charter tax depends only on where you are going to go on the rented yacht. Tax rates vary from country to country and can range from 0 to 20+% of the yacht rental price. In Turkey, it is 20%.

Tips for the crew

Another item of expenditure is tips for the crew. This is a common practice that should not be violated, because reputation in the charter world is important not only for commercial yachts, but also for their guests. Especially if the crew has done everything possible and even more to make your stay on board perfect. The tip amount is usually 10% of the yacht rental price. The amount is given to the captain, who distributes the tip himself, which is fair, since there are members of the team that the yacht guests do not see at all, but their contribution to the common cause is no less.

1. A wide range of yachts and routes. Early booking allows you to choose from a wider range of yachts, including the most popular models of recent years of construction, which can be occupied if you delay the decision.

2. Best prices. We offer discounts for early booking, which allows you to save a lot of money.
Savings can reach up to 20%.

3. Optimal planning. If you book a yacht in advance, you will have time to work out the itinerary, on-board menu and additional services, which helps you plan the perfect trip.

4. Perfect vacation dates.
If you have specific vacation dates, early booking ensures that the yacht will be available at that particular time.

5. In Turkey, the high season (June-September) is especially popular, and closer to the date it becomes more difficult to find a suitable yacht or, as practice has shown, sometimes it is not possible at all.
